Gateshead College provides outstanding further and higher education courses and Apprenticeships as well as specialist training for employers in a wide range of vocational areas.

It has a longstanding reputation in the manufacturing sector and has a history of providing innovative workforce development solutions for a range of employers.

The College is rapidly becoming a world leader in the development of LCV and EV courses as the result of unique and specialist work with European and global companies.

Based in the North East of England, in the heart of the UK’s largest automotive cluster the college is also working with the Government and employers such as Nissan, Renault and specialist equipment suppliers, to provide training on building an environment and infrastructure for the use of electric vehicles. 

We have unique strengths and capabilities and want to work with partners in countries for example China to deliver specialist and vocational education.
